Aice

Does anyone know how AICE credits are transferred to FSU - and when? The results from this past May/June session will be released August 11th and I filled out a form which is supposed to have the scores sent straight to FSU. But what about the May/June 2010 results - all of the credit I accrued last year? Does FSU have access to the Cambridge database which shows all of the credit I have earned? I have almost 40 credits and I want to ensure they all transfer. Anyone have experience with AICE and FSU? Thanks!

I am in the same situation as you. FSU does not have my test scores from 2010 either, and I filled out the submission form in early June. I’m hoping the 2010 scores arrive with the 2011 in August. The Admissions Office told me they will evaluate the AICE scores and post the credits to transcripts once they are received.

Unfortunately none of the staff I spoke to during Orientation was very informed about AICE. They couldn’t answer my questions at all.

[FSU General Bulletin](<a href=“FSU Registrar | Error 404 page not found”>FSU Registrar | Error 404 page not found)

I had read through the AICE-FSU course equivalencies in the General Bulletin before orientation, so I thought that, for example, I would have credit for CLA 2010 because I passed AICE Classical Studies with a B. However, during orientation one of the advisors told me no, that none of my AICE credits would apply toward FSU Liberal Studies requirements. That’s why I’m anxious to see my updated transcript. I’m hoping they were uninformed/wrong.

If you’re still unsure, I highly suggest that you call FSU and ask someone that deals with AICE credit.

Nolette’s link is up-to-date for 2011-2012. Your adviser was not well informed. You can get up to 30 hours of credit towards liberal studies requirements, and up to 45 hours total. From another place in the Bulletin:

Once the transcripts arrive with scores, it will show up under secure app’s when you do a graduation check.
