aid for a junior summer program?

<p>I was recently accepted into Stanford's high school summer college program</p>

<p>i reeeeeally want to go, but sadly, they only gave me 3000 of the 10000$ i need to attend...</p>

<p>are there any grants/scholarships out there to help me with this sort of thing?
my guidance counselor is totally in the dark- unhelpful- and no one seems to know where to turn- all the scholarships and grants out there are for seniors going to college in the fall!</p>

<p>Why does it cost $10,000???????? What exactly do you get to do?? Ummm, as for scholarships. <em>sigh</em> I'm in the same predicament. Except mine is $5,000. I'm still trying to figure out what to do, you might try writing wealthy entreprenuers to see if they'll sponsor you.</p>
