Aid for international student

I am an international student applying to RIT(mechanical engg) for RD and I have very high financial need. The website mentions that it is need based even for international students. How much aid does it provide in general for international students and does it become super duper competitive with very very low acceptance rate when I ask for aid?

Hi, I also had very high financial need. I had an okay SAT and a 3.6 GPA. I got in and about 15K in grants and 5K in Student Loans per semester. I must say that I’m an US Citizen, still International tho.
