aid for international students?

<p>i heard Caltech is pretty generous when it comes to finanacial aid..yet im wondering if it applies to international students as well?
i'm an asian girl currently living in the u.s. (sine 9th grade, not a citizen or a permanent resident) and even though my transcript and some activities show my interest in math/science, i am by no means smart enough for a merit scholarship.;</p>

<p>is Caltech admission need-aware for int'l students?
would it hurt my chance of getting admiited if i applied for an aid?</p>

<p>Unfortunately, not only are admissions a lot more competitive for international students, but they are also not need-blind. It is still possible to get aid though. Just be aware that needing a lot of it may hurt your chances.</p>
