I love Reed and was about to hit the Submit button on the CommonApp, but most sources, including Reed's website say that they can't give an int'l student full funding. I need about 90% of aid, and College Board and their NPC say I should be able to get that amount. Both these sources are contradictory...
So is there any aid for internationals?

“Reed’s website say that they can’t give an int’l student full funding.”

Can you point to this?

[Reed College | Catalog](Admission - Catalog - Reed College)
Scroll down to the int’l section

If you mean “There are no full scholarships” it means there will be loan and on-campus job components, same as domestic students.

Still, this doesn’t sound like that. “Students are expected to contribute” etc etc

All students receiving financial aid, both domestic and international, are expected to contribute, in the form of EFC, jobs and loans.

Why wouldn’t you submit an application, to see if you’d be accepted, and what aid you’re offered?

My problem is that I can’t afford to apply to too many schools. Hence I was trying to prioritize. But what you said makes sense. I’ll try to get in touch with Reed, get an app fee waiver or something…

Reed covers 100% of the financial need of every student it admits, including internationals. I am an international student on financial aid and I can confirm this.

Thanks for replying. That helps.

Reed doesn’t have a very high percentages of international students, if that is a concern to you at all.

6% are non-resident aliens this year, re CDS.
