Aid for summer course?

Okay, now I got permission from Cornell, now I gotta figure out how to pay for my summer course at Morgan State UNiversity. The course will cost 1,200 dollars. That is a lot of money for me and I am not sure if I can pay for it. So I was wondering can Cornell Financial aid pay for it? If they do, will it affect my aid for fall and spring semester? If it does then I do not want cornell Financial aid to pay for it. Since I am a new admitted transfer student, can I take out a loan through one of Cornell's loan program? If I do will that affect my aid for fall and spring semester? I'm trying to work out my biology 2 w/ lab course!! Morgan State university is making thsi very difficult.

Cornell will not give you financial aid to take a summer course at another college. Your best bet is to see if Morgan State will certify you to take out a private loan through a lender like Sallie Mae.

Since you’re not a matriculated student at MSU, your aid options (if any are available) will be limited.

Aaaww that sucks!!! i guess I will have to do that then if i want to attend Cornell :O!!

Umm, why not wait and take it at Cornell? I’m sure you have a reason, I’m just curious.

I dont think I can. I am going to be in CALS. CALS require that you finish Bio II with lab when u enter Cornell as a sophomore.

dont think cals will care if you take the course at a community college…which might be half of what you’re paying at that uni…

No community college near me offers Bio 2… haha… But i got it worked out i think :)
