<p>I had my AIM application in well before April 1. I know the due date was extended. Has anyone heard if they have been accepted or rejected yet??</p>
<p>hhsxc has said that he is going. My S applied in March and hasn't heard anything. My understanding is that they send out their answers on/about May 15th.</p>
<p>They way airline tickets are going.....prices will rise another $50 in the two week wait.</p>
<p>What airport is closest? I guess they should have transportation for us to and from the airport? My mom wants to start checking rates in case I get in. I'm going to NASS week 3 and she got a good deal on that flight. Really want to hear from CGA too...</p>
<p>They is an airport in New London/Groton. I think that I've heard Providence, RI is cheaper and still pretty close though. There is also Hartford, which is an hour away. I'm assuming that the Academy only will provide transportation from New Lodon, although I'm not sure.</p>
<p>Sorry for the confusion afa81. I did get a letter of assurance for the AIM program. This was mostly because of my contact with the xc and track coaches. I have not received the actual letter that says I am accepted. I talked to a admissions officer in mid April and he said they were just starting to look over the applications.</p>
<p>As some people said on here, I would really like to know for sure because of the rising airfare prices.</p>
<p>Providence is probably your best bet with Hartford a close second. Not sure if CGA provides transportation. There are vans that go back and forth but not sure if they are "free." Forget the New London airport that is very small. I'm sure they have some arrangements for you.</p>

<p>I was wondering about that too. If they can't tell us by email or phone for privacy's sake then how can they just post a list? I was thinking perhaps you would have to enter your password to get your results but they link to the web boards not your personal page....</p>
<p>Question for anyone who's gone to AIM, how does that work with Swab Summer going on at the same time?</p>
<p>Taken from a swabs perspective: there isn't all that much interaction. </p>
<p>You will see/ talk to them after Church on Sundays, and maybe see them at a distance, but they're kept entirely separate. Different parts of Chase, different Cadre, and different activities. (Though their treatment is similar, they do fun stuff like build RC boats and stuff like that; we never got the chance to do that.)</p>

<p>I'm off to sail on the Luders ( a 44' yawl) for about two weeks. I wish the weather was a little nicer, but it'll be awesome just to get underway.</p>

<p>No, I don't think he's up this week. The only non-Science professor is our class advisor, LT D'Arcy. He's a really cool guy, so I hope I end up with him.</p>
<p>My class will be doing the swab shorts. The "rising" 1/c (2/c until Wednesday) are already on Eagle and will stay on for the entire 3/c cruises; first and second phase.</p>
