Hi. I applied to U Chicago and submitted my app at 23:59, luckily it went out.
Interestingly, I got a promotion mail including a Chicago poster at my doorstep at 22:40 on the deadline, which reminded me to check the deadline, which I thought was Jan 5 but actually Jan 2.
That’s not the main point I’m making here.
I am an international applicant, and as I submitted everything, I found my past records included an index score of 182.5 and 7 on AIME. I didn’t weigh that heavily and thought 7/15 was pretty crap. But when I look on the internet people were saying 5 was the average?
So do you think its worth to scan my old award certificate and send it to school? It would look like a desperate RD app if it doesn’t mean that much.
