<p>How much of a boost does being an AIME qualifier help you for your chances at being admitted at places like Stanford, Prinecton, and Harvard??</p>
<p>It’s definitely a boost. Doing WELL on AIME can be a HUGE feather in your cap, though.</p>
<p>But not qualifying after taking the AMC isn’t something to even bother including, correct? At my school it’s invite only but I’d imagine it’s not the same for others.</p>
<p>I’d still go ahead and report an AMC score; it won’t help much, but it’s not a negative, either.</p>
<p>It’s not a big boost, since pretty much every AIME qualifier is applying to HSP, but if you do really well, THAT is a big boost. How well did you do on the AMC? If you got in the upper end of the 100-150 range, that looks good too</p>
