Aime/usamo help

I am an incoming softmore and I'm going to take the AMC10 and 12 this year. I have gone through so many practice tests and feel confident I will qualify for the AIME. I have also taken some old AIME's and can usually answer 4-5 correctly(without time limit). I really want to do better on it than that, so soon I can qualify for the USAMO, but there are just so many questions on the AIME that I can't even begin! So do you have any resources for learning AIME material?

So if I can eventually do well enough on the AIME to make it to the USAMO, I'm still in a jam. I've looked at many many USAMO(and USAJMO) problems and the thing is, I can't even begin to know where to start and I can't answer a single one! There is so much math on it that I dont understand. How do I learn it? I've never even written a proof before! I don't know how to write a proof. How do,you start , like learning how to do proofs and learning the material on the USAMO?

go to art of problem solving problem…everything you need is there

^That. They also have good practice problems made by members of the community.

What’s a softmore?

I think you should cross that bridge when you come to it, but the thing to do would be to get a textbook and learn proofs/whatever you need. If you can do really well on the AIME, you can do that.
