Aiming to high?

I just found this site, I'm not sure what the correct format is, but if you could please tell me if I am in over my head with the colleges I am aiming for. Thank you in advance.

Female, South Carolina, African American
GPA- UW-3.98-W 4.3
IB diploma candidate

5 AP tests, 4 on all of them
ACT-33 34 English 32 Math 32 Reading 35 Science 10 Essay

SAT II's 730 730 720

Public School
Rank 13/680

Leadership in various clubs, President of Spanish Honor Society, President HOSA, 4 year varsity athlete, Senior Class Vice President.

Summer Employement as Lifeguard/swim teacher
Peer Tutoring - 4 hours week/school year
Governors Honors Program summer/ 6 weeks

Very excellent reccomendations, GC doesn't know us (too many kids) so probably generic. Essays, very good.

Are my statistics in line with applying to the following please?

Williams
Amherst
Princeton
Yale
Davidson
University of South Carolina
University of Pittsburgh

Biology major with classics minor possible

Thank you

Yes (nothing personal or anything) but with your ecs and with affirmative action, you should get into most schools

URM + 33 ACT = Great chances at all schools!

Thank you both, guidance counselor told me that SAT II test scores could keep me out of several of them, I would like to believe that other factors could override them???

your guidance counselors are on crack

They could be, we have never had a student get accepted to an Ivy league school, or maybe even a little ivy, though 80% of students go to a 4 year school! They encourage in state schools-----sad.

Great chances on everything; fair chances at Yale/Princeton, but very good chances nevertheless.

I have been looking at other people's chances posts, and I am a little confused. Others have TONS and TONS of EC's, how on earth do they put those on applications, and with that many, don't the important ones get lost in the mix?

I need to ask for teacher reccomendations and GC forms on Monday, so if anybody else has an opinion?

Deadline is near, hopes or denials anybody?

good chances everywhere, though for Yale, Princeton it's a little more uncertain. Great GPA! Where do you go to school? I live in Greenville. . .yeah, really exciting

My DD stats are similar, (and URM). I don't know of chances but have been very encouraged by others who know (parents) on this board. Good Luck
