I'm wondering if I'm aiming too high with my list of colleges. What do you guys think?

I’m only applying to cmu because I have a scholarship. Anyone out there?

your in all colleges

I disagree with Amanravi. I don’t know about other college stats, but a 2060 on the SAt just doesn’t really cut it. I’d recommend a retake but I fear it may be too late. As long as you’re not an Asian male applying though, you still have a chance. Your volunteer work and ECs do point out your passion for technology.

i know im not “in” at all colleges, but i hope i have a chance at purdue , A&M, and UT

Oops. Morning post didn’t make much sense did it? I meant for CMU computer science. I don’t know about the others.

UPDATE:

Retook ACT/SAT

SAT: 2190 (730M, 680R, 780W)

Did you apply early action at all schools except for U of Texas and Rice? Congratulations anyway! You would have had pretty good chances at MIT and other higher ranked colleges, but I know it is more important to choose a college that you will enjoy. Good luck in college!

yes, early decision to CMU and early action to all except for U of Texas and Rice

Congrats! I’m glad it all worked out for you.

thanks! It always irked me when kids didnt post actual results from chance threads. Thought the info would be helpful for others
