<p>I have recently heard of so many southern schools that don't have air conditioning in the dorms- Duke and University of Maryland to name two.</p>

<p>I am sitting in my dorm in sweats right now; YEAH, it is that freezing.</p>
<p>S lived in a dorm sophomore year that was freezing too. His freshman dorm, Monroe, seemed ok to him. He’s not a big fan of a/c, but in New Orleans, it’s necessary to control the humidity which is pretty intense.</p>
