"The Air Force Academy has set aside an outdoor worship area for Pagans, Wiccans, Druids and other Earth-centered believers, school officials said Monday.

A double circle of stones atop a hill on the campus near Colorado Springs has been designated for the group, which previously met indoors."

anyone find it interesting that it was one of Weinstein’s men who found the cross, and not one of the people who uses the circle? i know Weinstein loves the attention, so i wouldn’t put it past him to have done this himself (or through one of his men) for the attention.

now if it wasn’t, then yes it’s wrong, and should probably be addressed sooner, but the location is at a location open to the public ground, and i haven’t talked to any cadets who knew about it until yesterday when Fox News carried the story.

So, who found it?
I’ve seen posts claiming the sgt. who helps run the Earth-Centered religious group was the first to find it. Is that the same person you are refering to, eagle?

the article says: On the weekend of Jan. 17, Weinstein said a client of his organization who is based at the academy spotted a cross, constructed of railroad ties, propped against a rock at the center. The client reported it, and the Office of Special Investigations began an inquiry.

Weinstein is not a pagan, and is organization is “supporting freedom of religion”. so it didn’t say someone who uses it, but rather one of his “clients”. could be poor reporting, but interesting tie regardless
