Aish, why not. Chances?

I know that I am not as smart as half the people on this board (some of you all are ridiculous with your complaining over having a 2150), but I decided to just give it a go. Judge as harshly as you want. I'd rather you not, but how will I improve my chances if you don't? All I ask is that you do not be rude.

Going into Architecture with a minor or double major in French. I have attended two high schools. My first high school had an Engineering academy, which I was accepted in, and I stayed for two years. I am currently enrolled at another school which is much harder than the first, and attend a Technical Education school where I take a course.

I do have a couple of terrible grades. If they need an explination, I don't mind giving them.

Colleges?
Carnegie Mellon
USC
UT-Austin
Texas Tech
Wentworth Institute of Technology
Northeastern University
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

I will be retaking the SAT in October. I will also be taking the ACT and my SAT IIs in October and November, respectively. Just wondering if there are any colleges, in your opinion, that I should be looking at. Some of these colleges do not offer French, so I just plan on taking Architecture by itself if accepted.

Thank you!

Um, is there anything I should add or take away...?

Carnegie Mellon - HIGH REACH
USC - REACH
UT-Austin - LOW REACH
Texas Tech - MATCH/LOW REACH
Wentworth Institute of Technology - MATCH
Northeastern University - HIGH MATCH
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - MATCH

all your 70's and 80's really really hurt your chances, and your SAT score is less than mediocre

^
Texas Tech: Low Reach? Seriously? How is Northeastern considered a high match and TT a match, low reach?

I know that my SAT score is very low, which is why I plan on retaking it in October. I know that I'm not going to jump from a 1700 to a 2200, but I am trying to get as close to 2000 as I can. I'm also taking the ACT, and am confident that I can get at least a 30. Those scores should help me a lot.
