<p>For those of you who are in town for the honors events today, Alabama softball takes on the Mizzou Tigers at 8pm at Rhoads Stadium. Alabama is ranked #4 and Mizzou is ranked #7 but the both have AMAZING pitchers in Jackie Trania for Alabama and Chelsea Thomas for Mizzou. DD’s best friend from high school, Mackenzie Sykes is the starting center fielder for Mizzou. DD spent a couple of hours last night over at the Mizzou team hotel and lets just say that the Tigers are a bit worried. So if you want to see some fantastic softball head on over to Rhoads Stadium tonight at 8. It’s a 3 game series , 4/5@ 8pm, 4/6@ 2pm and 4/7 @ noon. Both Friday’s and Saturday’s games are televised on ESPNU. We had planned to make the trip but DH is in Tampa drafting his fantasy league baseball team and attending the Rays games this weekend :/.
If any of you are worried about our alliances at my house…well since DH received his undergrad and JD from Mizzou we are a house divided as evident by the flag that hangs in the front of our house…top half is the Crimson Tide…bottom half is the Mizzou Tigers. I for one am looking forward to a great game. Roll Tide…MIZ!</p>
