First, the good news (for UA fans).
Next month, **60 Minutes Sports/b will air a story on the football teams Strength and Conditioning Program featuring coach Scott Cochran.

Boy, do you guys have a paranoid persecution complex.

I was trying to do you a favor by alerting you to a television program (60 Minutes Sports) about your favorite school that you might otherwise not know about.

It was only by coincidence that a coach from the same program was suspended.
That was *his/i doing, not mine.

I can’t help it if the athletic program is crooked.
Just as I couldn’t help it when Penn State allowed the Sandusky situation to happen.
Go ahead, fire away if that gives you pleasure.

PS: My kids aren’t in college yet, that’s why I’m on CC in the first place.
And I don’t plan on remaining here after we find out where daughter will be attending.

I feel for the kid if that is the case. But, how does one have legal ways to replace cash stolen? Especially in time to pay the rent that is due? Your insurance does not replace cash stolen. I’m sure the amount stolen was less than any deductible on homeowners insurance as that is what it most likely would fall under, his parents homeowners insurance. IF his parents even had homeowners insurance. So, if this happens to a player and they have their rent money stolen, can they borrow money from anyone to help pay the rent and then pay them back? A teammate? A teammates parents/family? Sadly, most landlords and rental companies don’t give a flying rip they want their money and on time.

Unlike a lot of other schools, at least UA is trying to do the right thing. As soon as they find something that could be a violation they contact NCAA. Some schools would try to hide it and/or make excuses. I would not say they are “crooked”. At least they know the rules and try their best to stick to them. Trying to compare this to Penn, far FAR reach. FAR!

What exactly is your IQ if you equate a coach lending emergency money to a player with what went on at Penn State?

Good luck finding that school that is filled with 100% perfect people.
