Alabama vs Auburn football game Friday afternoon

Just wanted to give those who are OOS a heads up about Friday’s game. Yes, usually Alabama plays football on Saturdays, but because of a contract with CBS Sports, the game will be on Friday this year.

This is the Iron Bowl - the big rivalry game - Alabama Crimson Tide vs Auburn Tigers.

The game will be nationally televised, so if you’ve never seen an Alabama game, this may be your chance if you so desire :)

The game is at 1:30pm Central time, so it would be at 12:30pm Eastern, 2:30pm Mountain, and 3:30pm Pacific.

Tivo is your friend if you’ll be shopping on Black Friday. LOL ;)

This is also a good time to tell/remind future students…student ticket packages for home football games for next season usually go on sale around the beginning of June, so be on the lookout for date/time of sales. The student football tickets are $5 each but are sold in sets.

I read in the newspaper that although it will be a home game for Auburn, that Alabama fans were able to buy more tickets than usual, because Auburn’s sales were lagging. So, there should be more Crimson Red in the Auburn stadium than would be expected. :)

Mom2collegekids, the time is later the farther east one goes. The game will be at 1:30PM Central, 2:30PM Eastern, 12:30 PM Mountain, 11:30AM Pacific on CBS.

you’re so right…oops…I should know that - I’m from Calif!!! Don’t know WHAT I was thinking!

Thanks for catching my mistake!!!

I’m going to repost this thread to make sure anyone who saw my wrong times gets the right info.
