Does anyone know how this program works? I also have Daemon Tools. Thanks!

It mounts an "image" of a CD on and acts as a virtual drive. Essentially, it "tricks" the computer into thinking there's an actual CD in an actual drive.

thanks but i have a downloaded game without a cd. when i open the game i use "alcohol 52%" as the program the game will be run by. then what do i do?

Besides playing the game?

alright so i have the game on my desktop as an rar file. when i open the file it asks under which program i want to run it. i click "run under alcohol 52%". then once alcohol 52% loads up this is what i got as my screen: http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c328/lbioche/82b3afea.jpg

any help would be appreciated

You need to extract from the RAR file using a program such as WinRAR.

alright i extracted the file and now i get to the main menu of the game. (settings, play game, controls, etc...). BUT when i click "play game" it says "please insert cd". so which function of alcohol 52% should i use in order to get the computer to "think" the cd is in the drive? thanks!!

Mount the game with Daemon Tools.

Yep, amievil has it right.

how do u "mount it"?

Click on the icon in the taskbar with the red lightning, then select a virtual drive. It'll ask you which image file to mount -- choose the desired file. If autorun isn't present, go to My Computer and click on the virtual drive you selected to run the "CD".
