I don't drink either, but when I was at Explore, it seemed like the kids who didn't drink at the start of the school year, now do.. even if not a ton. It happens to most.

i will be the exception to that rule... i promise..
my diet dr pepper suits me just fine, thank you! : )

At the time I graduate, I still won't be old enough to drink (legally).

lovetocamp: The school does NOT take alcohol that seriously - at least Housing doesnt take it that seriously... Most RAs will (relatively) ignore drinking unless it is disruptive - and even then they will take every opportunity to not get their kids trouble...

Also, for the non-drinkers: You will RARELY find people that wont hang out with you because you dont drink - students here arent that immature. Therefore, you dont have to hang out with just non-drinkers, etc... I have friends (that dont drink) that party with us every weekend, and they have a lot of fun.

<<we can="" all="" start="" a="" club....="" and="" maybe="" name="" it="" "college="" confidential="" addicts="" who="" don't="" like="" alcohol"...="" sound="" plan,="" guys?="" :="" )="">></we>

We like that idea!! Diet Coke and Root Beer are my daughter's drinks of choice, LOL.

Continued thanks to all for the posts, we feel we're getting a real variety of perspectives. Overall it sounds encouraging.

yeah lovetocamp, i don't really agree with that assessment. drinking is not taking very seriously at all. my host and his friends definitely were into it and no one really cares. live and let live man.

PBK Mom: ahh diet coke is my second favorite, after dr. pepper... i have a feeling your daughter (if she decides to attend USC) and i will become great friends, haha : )
