Just wanted to send out as a warning. Yet another teenager lost their life to alcohol poisoning through binge drinking. It happened last week at Rider University in NJ. The student was at a frat house, and allegedly drank three fourths of a bottle of Absolute in 15 minutes. I can't tell you how much I lecture my own kids about this sort of stuff, but kids really don't think they are going to die. The media portrays all of this kind of "spring break" "frat party" mentality on TV, etc., and these kids today think that everything will be alright.

This student lived in California, and his parents had to take a flight out to NJ. Can you imagine what a heartbreak it is to sit trapped on a plane for six hours knowing that you weren't "going on vacation", that you were headed to your child who was dying. And now they have to fly back home with his body in the belly of the plane? I can't even bear to think of how they felt.

What can we do to stop this hard core binge drinking?
