alcohol

is michigan a dry campus?? how strictly is this enforced? how easy is it to access alcohol???

Dry? No - are you kidding?

Then there is the hash bash.....

Not many kids drink here, if you are looking for a party campus, try MIT.

XFD

dry... yes

Yeah. No one drinks at UMich. It's a completely dry and safe place occupied by sensible and mature students.

Apparently, Ann Arbor's reputation as the Berkeley of the Midwest has been lost to some in this generation. :p

i hope u guys are being sarcastic when u say it's dry

A question comes up to mind. Do guys respect students who don't drink at all?

Yeah we're being sarcastic.

I worship them.

Really?? Do you really mean it?

Oh yeah. I'm one of the few who don't drink at all (personal choice). I worship myself. :)

And of course others too, who don't drink. I don't tend to be friends with people who party a lot and get wasted every weekend.

You'll find both on this campus. I ... did a LOT during welcome week, and now I don't. I'm still friends with those that do go out every week, and made new friends that don't drink every week.

There is a lot of natty light. If drinking pee is your sort of thing.

Don't count on any good parties.

really? i heard the parties were sick....no?

The frat parties are... okay. As I sad before, if you're into good alcohol you're going to be dissapointed--but I guess that's how it is at most other colleges/universities. Going to a party here always consists of a long walk, and sometimes it's just not worth it.

lol whaaattt OHgiraffe???

Maybe you're just hanging with the wrong crowd. I'm not sure I've ever had a bad weekend at U of M!

^Haha. For sure. I still believe that the night life is amazing, but I haven't experienced it yet! I'm dying here, man.
