Alex Doonesbury, MIT '10

You heard it here (and on Matt's blog) first:
[quote]
"Ms. Doonesbury will be attending MIT."

Vote early, vote often. ;)

w00t!

See you at orientation, Alex! :p

I wonder where she'll choose to live......

Ha! In today's Doonesbury's they're claiming MIT hacked the voting site!

MIT did "hack the voting site", sort of. (If writing scripts to stuff the ballot box can be considered hacking the voting site.)

Slate article about the ballot box stuffing.
Trudeau's official "Where will Alex go to school?" response. ("[T]he will, chutzpah, and bodacious craft of the voting public will be respected.")

The fact that Alex is complaining about the ballot stuffing may be a clue that she's going to take a year off or otherwise refuse to abide by the poll results, but we shall have to wait and see.... A true MIT student would be excited that her future fellow students had pulled it off, I would think! Bodacious craft, indeed! :)
