Alexander Angerhofer-Chem Professor

I'm taking CHM 2047 in the fall and when I checked the teacher a few months ago, it said Randy Duran. I was really excited about it because he seemed really helpful and generous with extra credit, but I checked today and it says that it is now Alexander Angerhofer. Does anyone know anything about him?

how do you check the teacher? my schedule doesn’t show that.

[Office of the University Registrar](http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/soc/200908/all/chemistr.htm)

Check the course listings.

ah!!! There seems to be no more duran! Can someone explain this to me???

Okay Dr. Duran isn’t god’s gift to earth, He’s taken a new position at another university and Dr. Angerhofer has pretty decent reviews on ratemyprofessors.com. They often team-teach CHM 2047 so its alittle different then most other courses.

I had Angerhofer as the lecturer for a genchem 2. He’s really straightforward. He’s german I believe so he does have somewhat of an accent- not too difficult to understand. He’s really approachable, if you’re willing to learn, he’s willing to teach. His main interest is P.Chem though, when I had him one semester he often left for conferences to present his research. I wouldnt worry about him.
