so ok SR year is hell; Marching Band, band, AP English, AP American gov't, DE Human A&P, AP US history (maybe) AP spanish (maybe) Now to my question: the rep from Hampden-Sydney said i need Alg 2 to be considered for admission. But math is not at all my strong suit example: i took alg 2 my jr. year, 1st semester got F droped class teacher said i was cheating. How do i wave admission req. i test to high for an LD.

email from HSC:

Mr. B,

I have another question. Is it possible to be admitted to HSC,
without Algebra 2?
Thanks again for your time.

response:

Wabash,

It is good to hear that you made it back safely to New Mexico from your visit
to the east coast. As for the Algebra 2, we do require that for admission
to the college. If that is a problem for you then you still have this
summer to get ahead, and as long as you have completed the course by the
time you graduate from high school (i.e. take the course your senior year),
then you should not have a problem.

We realize that math does not come easily to everyone out there, but we do
want you to at least have Algebra 2 under your belt before you get here. I
hope this helps to answer your question. Good luck with everything and send
my best to your family.

Mr. B

what i was thinking of sending back to him:

Mr. B,

Thank you for your for your warm well wishes. The plane trip back was a bit long and a bit bumpy, but we arrived at home safe and on schedule. My senior schedule is as follows: Marching band, band, AP English, AP American Government, Dual Enrollment Human Anatomy and Physiology. Is it possible to take it, perhaps, at a community college during that "transition" summer between high school and college, or take it once I arrive there? The reason I ask is as of now I am in a remedial mathematics class. {SOMETHING MORE GOES HERE?) Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Wabash
