Hi, I'm going to be a junior in High School, and I really want to take linear algebra my senior year. So.. I have a quick question: Can you take algebra 2 and trigonometry together at the same time, if anyone could post their experience taking the two classes together that would be amazing, thanks!

For clarification; I was going to take Algebra 2 at my school, and trigonometry online.

In New York (and maybe elsewhere), the state curriculum requires that Algebra 2 and Trigonometry be taken in the same math class. I took Alg 2 / Trig in junior year, and it wasn’t very difficult for me. I’m a bit of a math person though. It’s a lot to learn, but it’s definitely doable.

As stated, the typical junior year math course in NYS is called Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. I took it freshman year and the trig felt a little rushed, but it was fine.

Yepp that’s how it’s done in NY! This was the first year with this test actually and the first year is always the easiest! The curve was ridiculous, don’t worry OP! I doubt they will make the regents any harder for at least 2 years.
