Hello,
I apologize if this thread is avoided but currently, I am a CC student looking to take Algebra 2/Trig online over the summer. I would take it at my CC but then I would graduate a semester later than I want to graduate and that is causing the cost to go up, and I want to avoid staying at my CC for just one class.
It sounds like you are looking for pre-calc.
Look at this description and see if that sounds right:
There are variations on this level or back to more of a college algebra.
You are probably best served by finding an online option at a public U or another Cc in your state. This will assist with alignment, accepting the course, and cost (though sometimes you can find cheaper options).
The problem with math at a new college is they may want you to take another placement test -even got a summer course.
Are you in the process of transferring to a 4 year program? You will want to look at what math courses they accept and require.
I apologize for the delayed response. I am looking to transfer to a 4-year school. Would it be bad to take two math classes, with one being probability and statistics concurrently with a Pre-Calc class?
That would be fine, but what else are you taking this summer? Does your Cc not offer them online?
Foundational math classes can be hard online. Did you take precalc in high school?
