Just for a quick introduction, I am in ninth grade and this my first year as high school. This year, I am talking Honors Algebra 2 and many other classes. The first marking period (quarter) I got all A's except a B (almost a C) in Honors Algebra 2 and this marking period it looks like once again I will get all A's except a B (once again almost a C) in Algebra 2. Last year, in Algebra 1, I got all high A's and I considered it very easy. However this year I am having great difficultity will Algebra 2, not one thing in particular, just everything is reallly hard. Basically, I am asking for any study suggestions (I study a good amount by redoing problems done in class and for homework) and just any pieces of advice. I know a B isn't that bad, but I was just wondering if anyone could help.

have you gone for extra help with your teacher?

I'm in the EXACT same situation as you. What I'm doing is basically I'm starting a study group with people who are doing well in the class, going to the teacher for extra help when I feel the need to (my teacher is very rude, so I tend not to do this too often), and I may sign up for Kumon math (I did it two years ago for Alg 1 and it helped me out SO much with speed...maybe it'll work again?).

Good luck man.

hmmm odd i found algebra to be a lot harder than algebra 2. (though my grades were higher in algebra 1 because of extra credit lol)

Can anyone else help? I'm sure (hope lol) that I'm not the only one having trouble with this class.

^ Ditto that. I loved Algebra I and Algebra II...just relax and concentrate on the topics =) Assume a can-do attitude!
