<p>I do not believe there any any topics in geometry that are instrumental in algebra 2. This all may depend on your math background, however. For 6th-8th grade, all my math classes in a lackluster education system were simply entitled “math” and we learned up to simply algebra at the end of 8th grade. After moving to a more affluent neighborhood, I was asked which math classes I had taken in my previous school for placement. After some confusion, he put me in Algebra 2 and I averaged pretty much an A the entire year. So I think you should be fine.</p>
