Algebra II help?

Okay, I know this is probably really really easy..but here goes. I'm supposed to solve for a, b, and c. Where do I start?
The equation is

3ax^2 + (b+5)x + c -7 = 12x^2 -6x- 9

thanks for any help :]

Match up the coefficiants of x^2, x, and x^0, so you'd get

3a = 12

b+5 = -6

c-7 = -9

thank you so much!
