I am a high school student taking algebra based physics at a community college right now, but I plan to major in computer science in college and I just realized that computer science majors need calculus based physics. Am I wasting my time because colleges will see that I am not even taking the correct physics course? Note: I’m a senior so there’s no “I can take it next year.”
You’ll just take calc-based in college. Algebra-based physics will expose you to the material and you’ll be more prepared when the calculus is added to it.
Okay thanks!
Kind of what most people do…take algebra physics in HS and then take whatever physics the college wants.
