4 of 4...waiting on Rice university, but who cares

In at both Cal and UCLA

That makes a clean sweep.

wah. I almost had a clean sweep but freakin San Diego rejected me. whatever. I got into my "dream school"

The two bears spoke. The older bear spoke of spring whereas the younger one spoke of fall. Both spoke great things

I had the same problem you had Danoh while using the Opera web browser. I had to switch to firefox.

I'm so excited, I really wasn't expecting to get in... I was waitlisted at a good but less prestigious university earlier today, so I wasn't feeling very confident about UCLA. Now on that form that asks whether or not you want to accept your place on the waitlist, I can smugly write "No- attending UCLA!"

Ah, it seems Firefox was the problem. IE loaded the page just fine. I got in, of course, but I did it mainly to see my financial aid info:

Federal Pell Grant $3,260
Scholarship Recognition Award $3,992
Cal Grant $6,656
Work Study $2,500
Loans $5,000
University Scholarship $1,500

Provisional Award Total:
$22,908

So, that's $8568 a year that I have to pay. I'm still not sure if that's low enough compared to a full-ride at UCSD.

be happy that you got in to UCLA haha. People like me would die for your spot.

LOL quote of the year

i got in!!! yay...=)

I'm in with a 1780 SAT .....BWAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Finally got offically accepted. Received the stupid engineering letter a month ago and I've been waiting for the official letter to come for a while. Got me scared for a little bit.

accepted =D

Heheh. Congrats to everyone that got in (myself included). Now there's this tough decision of whether to accept or not.... such a difficult choice.

Azure: Personally, I would rather attend UCSD if the cost of going to UCLA is about 9000 dollars a year. That's too much to be paying for a public education imho. But of course you'd have to consider is a 9000 dollar difference worth it for the experience of UCLA over UCSD. Like I said.... difficult decisions, but we are adults now and we'll have to make many more in the future.
