All Applications In - Chances please?

I've finished applying to all my schools, and I realize that the schools I applied to aren't the "typical" CC schools, but I wasn't prestige-seeking, but rather looking for good fits as well as schools that may award me good financial aid packages (big concern).

If you wouldn't mind chancing me + telling me what kind of financial aid package/merit award I might get (if you're familiar with the school), I would greatly, greatly appreciate it.

UW GPA: 3.5 W GPA: 3.65 ACT Score: 30
From Nebraska

American University
University of Miami
Seattle University
University of San Diego
Tulane University
Colorado State University
Southern Methodist University
Loyola Chicago
Indiana University Bloomington
University of Minnesota
Loyola New Orleans
Seton Hall
University of Nebraska at Lincoln

I applied to the business schools of all of these. So far I've gotten into Tulane ($17,000/year), Loyola Chicago ($12,500/year), Indiana University (no idea about merit award yet) and UNL ($1,000/year).

You should be in at most of the schools although USD and Miami may be slight to mid reaches.

Thanks for the chances, can I get some more people to chance me please?

Umiami EA released decisions a couple of weeks ago with merit scholarships to some....Not sure if you apply RD whether there is much merit money left...Hope that helps..

Thanks, it does help rodney. I was hoping that at UMiami, I would get a decent need-based financial aid award, I wasn't really counting on a merit scholarship there (just hoping to get in!)

To the top.

Bump. I've recently been admitted to Loyola New Orleans (No idea about scholarships) and I received a $2,000/year scholarship from IU (very disappointed, but oh well).

I second the fact that USD may be a reach.

Thanks, I thought that USD might be a slight reach, but I still felt pretty confident about getting in. Hopefully I'm not wrong.

its a gorgeous campus, by all means apply to it

I actually already have (applied), and you're right, it is a gorgeous campus and city.

oh, whoops

but yeah

Anyone willing to chance me on U of Miami and American University <-- my number one choice?

American University in particular, since it's my #1 choice.

Update: just received my Loyola New Orleans scholarship award of $18,000/year (their largest scholarship)

Update: just received my acceptance letters for Southern Methodist University and Colorado State University.

Also, I was awarded $1,000 more a year at Loyola New Orleans

im curious as to whether USD is gonna accept you or not.

i have similar stats

(oh, and congrats)

Thanks for the congrats, and yes I'm wondering about USD too.

I received my acceptance letter from the University of San Diego today, along with a $10,000/year scholarship.

I just got into the University of Miami, no idea about scholarships yet. So I'm only waiting on the University of Minnesota and American University. So far I'm shooting 100%!
