AND THE NEXT COUPLE AFTER THOSE is JIM HARBAUGH...or just anyone else other than the dumbo we have right now

I agree. Although, I am happy we still have a chance to win this game (as opposed to MSU, currently losing 0-35 to Alabama). :)

btw, that smiley face is for the fact that we still have a chance to win… i want the big ten to look good during bowl season

We are going to lose to Miss State and Rich Rod is out. I never understood why people kept saying that he needed three or four years to install his own system. In his first season at Notre Dame, Coach Kelly capped off am 8-5 season with a 33-17 win over Miami (FL). In his first season, Coach Fisher took FSU to a 10-3 record. When Rich Rod came to Michigan, the cupboard was far from empty. Any good coach, regardless of their coaching preference, could have taken that team to a 8+ win season. All that coach would have needed to do is to respect Michigan’s tradition and put the program above himself.

The new Athletic director knew he was going to fire Rich after the Bowl game because it would have cost Michigan $4 million to fire him in 2010 and just $2.5 million to fire him in 2011.

As for the next coach, Harbaugh may not be our best choice. I am sure or athletic director has a good coach in mind.

Please be correct Alexandre. I can’t take RR anymore. He has ruined this program.

looks like pancakes spoke too early. Also, what just happened.

How can’t MICHIGAN get someone who can kick the ball through the uprights more than 4 out of 14 times? Not only do you not get the three points but you put more pressure on the offense to force throws because they need a touchdown.

Why isn’t Harbaugh our best choice anymore? Just curious because I remember earlier, you were always saying that there is a big chance Harbaugh is coming to Michigan.

And yeah, our kicker really sucks…

Yosup, I only know of Harbaugh because he is a Michigan alumnus. However, Dave Brandon will be conducting a very thorough search looking for the best coach with the best fit. That may or may not be Harbough. There are many excellent coaches out there. Chip Kelly at Oregon comes to mind.

I heard on ESPN today that the AD really doesn’t want a long search. He just wants a type of deal that Florida ended up with when they named a coach like 1 or 2 days after Meyer stepped down. There’s no doubt that Brandon will call Harbough probably the day after Stanford plays and gauge his interest.

There is absolutely no way Brandon will fire RR w/o a replacement already lined up. I think? ;-)

Not after this one, he has to go.
