<p>We were there at 8:00 sharp and it took almost no time. Son has the “D” room in LSE and it set up nicely. Roomier than I thought. </p>

<p>Wife was weepy all the way home. Son is evidently already making friends and is having a good time.</p>

<p>One of the guys helping with the move-in saw my LSU hat. He looked around sheepishly to make sure nobody was listening, and told me, “I’ve lived in Alabama all my life, but LSU has always been my team.” I wanted to hug him. We shared our mutual befuddlement over the honey badger.</p>

<p>Slippy, when did you move into LSE? I was the site leader over there most of the weekend! Did I boss you around at any point? :)</p>

<p>The RAs in Lakeside are PHENOMENAL. Not that our other RAs are not, but I just spent an entire weekend in the company of some really great student staff, so I’ve gotten to know them better than some other areas on campus.</p>
