Spring GPA: 4.0
Final GPA: 4.0
Will I go to UT? Yes, if I get in
Do you regret CAP? Yes, considering I’m essentially applying as an external transfer to Cockrell School of Engineering, it didn’t make any sense to do the CAP program. I feel that CAP is only useful to those applying to any of Liberal Arts Major.
UT sister school: UTA
My time at UTA was ehh. I wasn’t a fan of the campus life. Campus felt dead after 4/5 pm. I lived in one of the less nicer dorms: Trinity Hall, but found myself a the gym a LOT. (the only good thing about living at trinity) Luckily I wasn’t required to buy the meal plan as many people didn’t like it.
I really look forward to Austin (if I get in) and the wait is really killing me.
I hope you get in!! For some reason if you were no tot get in, what would you do? @parthp97
I’ve applied to A&M UH UTD as backups. Even with being able to go to UT through CAP, it does’t make sense for me to go unless i get into the engineering school.
Some decisions were released yesterday, I know this because some friends and I received ours. Maybe you guys did!
Are your friends CAP students? @calacmul
Me and some other friends are CAP. They also released also for non CAP
@calacmul whats IRG? whats your major?
@Newsie2015 IRG stands for International Relations and Global Studies, its a major within the College of Liberal Arts. It is also my major, although I’m planning into hopefully transfer to the College of Natural Sciences for Biology major. What about you?
I assumed since I was applying to a guaranteed major I would’ve heard from now.
Yes, I would probably check @JackM82
I’ve applied to a guaranteed major, and I’m not even in review yet. I honestly think we will hear back last.
Looks like UT is giving us one last middle finger
I read on the Admissions Website that decisions for all transfers will be released by June 15. I’m guessing that is because they want for students to have the opportunity to sign up for the first orientation session.
@calacmul someone said they tweeted yesterday that June 15 is just a guideline. people were finding out as late as june 25 last year
I’m just no longer going to check the my status page until around June 15th, I’m getting tired of the disappointment lol like I just want my status to at least say “in review”
Just checked my status and it changed to ‘in review’ today! I’m an English major, so hopefully this means the COLA kids will hear sometime early next week
I’ve sent in all my stuff and my application page says “your application for admission is complete” but where are y’all seeing “in review”
@parthp97 your app will change to “in review” once they actually start reviewing your application. Right now your application is complete
Got my notification for admission today. Very excited! Hope you guys got some good news as well
