Congrats to all!

Any of you planning on going to Berkeley?
If so, are you thinking of doing the FPF program?

Thought it would be nice to have a group of us to, chat and discuss ^_^

Spring admit here, I've submitted my FPF reservation with the $100 deposit and got a confirmation on the myBerkeleyApp page. So if I do end up going to Berkeley, there is a high likeliness I will attend FPF.

I'm still deciding between UCLA and UCB right now. I am planning on submitting my SIR to either school after I visit the two campuses.

I am a spring admit! I dont know if its too late to rsvp for FPF but i am going to send my rsvp tomrow via mail! where are you guys from?

I remember reading from other threads that it usually takes around one to two weeks for FPF to fill up. So you'll probably get a spot if you send tomorrow, just don't wait any later.

I'm from SoCal, you?

same. LA. im still debating on ucsd or ucb. ):

I’m a spring admit too, and if I attend Berkeley, i’ll be doing the FPF program as well (got a confirmation on myBerkeley). I still have to visit a few more colleges to make a final decision though.

I’m from Seattle.

Send your course selection forms ASAP. All FPF classes are first come first serve.

Spring as well
I sent the FPF form yesterday. I’m from LA, so i think it should reach there soon… well…I’m hoping so lol.

I sent my reservation for FPF last Friday via express mail…
But I haven’t been confirmed yet.
Should I call?

Also I made the mistake of writing 20000000 instead of my ID on the cheque cuz the line in the instructions where the ID is supposed to be was 20000000 last Friday when I checked.
Is that gonna affect me?

jsnue, call the admissions office. I also thing express mail might require a signature? make sure to call them.

I’m a spring admit from SoCal and already signed up for FPF. Have any of you guys been able to apply for housing yet because it hasn’t been working for me…

not workign for me eitehr. or i justdont know how. did you enroll in classes pasq?

Aww, man, now to sign up for classes. I still haven’t sent my SIR because I still want to visit UCLA. Do you think I would still get into my top class choices if I send the course selection form on Saturday after visiting UCLA?

Edit:
Oh and my top class choices. I’m thinking about Philosophy, Sociology, some R and C requirement, and some kind of math, maybe Math 16A since I heard it was easy.

I’m not a spring admit, but my friend from school already submitted his a few days ago and put in his deposit for FPF.

No I haven’t enrolled in classes… still deciding which ones. I’m just happy I made it in the program and hopefully I can get housing.
The site says that housing is done based on lottery, but does it work that way for the spring admits too? or is it just first come first serve for what ever is left over?

Im also a Spring admit also and just got confirmation for my reserve seat in FPF. Do any of you know if we arrive at Berkeley at the same time as Fall admits? Because classes start a week after freshmens arrive on campus and that beginning week is the welcome week. I don’t want to miss welcome week even if I’m a spring admit.

I’m a spring admit and I just got the notification that I got into FPF. Just about ready to sign up for courses.

However, does anyone know why when I try to sign up for CalMail, it says I need to submit my SIR (even though i already submitted that with $100 through credit card)?

what do u mean by a signature? crap i dun think i signed anything

what do you mean the “confirmation” for being enrolled? Do you mean that there is a little check by the box in the “to do” list next to “enroll in the FPF program”? i havent gotten an email or anything, how do i make sure i’m into FPF?

im actually really excited for this program, the classes are smaller and stuff BUT i am worried about housing? can we even start applying for dorms yet?

I think I’m in FPF… should be submit courses… or do you have you do SIR first because I’m still considering others… o and how many others are doing the conference on April 7th :D
