Hate to beat a guy when he is down, but your story doesn’t make sense. Your school would have definitely reached out to you to tell you that you were on probation. Did the school have your correct address? They usually send that kind of information by mail. It is your responsibility to keep your address current.
You also knew how poorly you were doing, even if you did not do the simple arithmetic to figure it out. Why would any employer requiring a college degree want to hire someone who has shown so little in their college studies?
You do need to leave college and get out in the “real” world. It can be a real motivating experience, if you let it. Maybe then you will ready to take the college experience seriously.
