All score requirements? (Same as SAT/ACT Forum)

Hey,

I am concerned by the submit all scores policy by the UC schools and others.
I have a question, fellow CCers. If a school requires that you send all scores, what does that exactly mean? For example, I have taken the SAT, ACT and SAT II's. If I did not do so well on my SAT1 but did well on my ACT, and want to submit SATII's, am I required to submit by SAT along with my subjects? Seems like sort of a hairy situation.
Also, if I for example got a 590 score for math 1(It was last year; I know it sucks) but do well my Math 2 this year, will colleges that require all scores hold this score against me? A 590 is not really competitive for schools.

Thanks for you time.

I don’t know why you think it’s a “hairy situation”. The UC requirement is pretty clear. You need to send all your scores. It’s also clear they will use the highest score from a single test date.

Da**, well that blows. I should have taken that subject test when I was prepared, lol. Hopefully I will not be judged by my not so stellar SATs either. Riding on my act haha.

Anyway, thanks for the input erin’s dad.
