Does this request include SAT II's? My dd took the ACT once and the SAT once and two SAT II's. Her ACT and SAT are very good - but her SAT II's are just OK -

I think it reads Send all ACT and SAT scores - so what have others done?

Call and ask but I don’t think the admission requirements include any SAT IIs for admission to USC so they don’t use them, but if you send all I guess it sends those also. Really don’t know if the Honors College considers them or not, since they don’t require them. I would definitely call and ask if you’re unsure.

What regular USC regular admissions people told me was that they recommend students send all just because some students accidently mess up doing score choice and hurt themselves (not because they are evaluating every sitting of tests). And it doesn’t matter since the computer spits out superscore and admin people really don’t look at all scores…think of how many applicants they go through.

Now my usual disclaimer is that things can change from year to year, and not sure about honors but I think if not included in admissions requirements, it won’t be held against you if you send them even if not that high.

My son took the ACT and the SAT but didn’t initially register to have either test score sent to any college. His SAT scores ended up just a little better, so after he got his scores back he elected to only submit his SAT scores, and it must of worked because he got in.

I called admissions about the very same thing. The admissions rep I spoke with said that all attempted tests and scores must be sent, and that although they look at the highest of the scores sent, they do consider all the scores…I am all for what imagep said especially if the test scores have a significant deviation from ACT to SAT conversion. The only question would be if your particular h.s. puts all attempted standardized tests and scores on the transcript, and the student only sends his/her best test scores, when suppose to be sending all from each of the testing dates and centers…Personally, I believe the student should be able to send the scores of their choosing, even though a university might feel it gives them better insight into each student’s capability/ability by seeing them all. (and btw USC requests the submission of all attempted test scores for regular admissions as well)
