Chance me for some great schools! I submitted all my apps and applied priority to Maryland.

Essays - excellent (had a teacher who used to be an admin officer look them over)
Recs - great... very close with teachers and GC

Applied to: (college - school - intended major)
Maryland CP - Smith - Int'l Business
Ohio State - Fisher - Int'l Business
UNC-Chapel Hill - Business program
TCNJ - Business program
UDel - Business program
NYU - Stern - Int'l Business
UPenn - CAS - Int' Relations

You should have little problem getting into UDel, UPenn, and UMD. TCNJ should also not be too hard. NYU will be a reach because ACT takers usually have a lower acceptance rate than those who take the SAT (or at least, I think so.) I really wish I could help you with Ohio and UNC, but I’m not familiar with their stats?

The poster above needs to do more research.
Your essay must move mountains, for you to get into UPenn, not trying to be mean or harsh just blunt. You are a white male with mediocre (compared to those of elite schools) scores a mediocre GPA, and mediocre ECs.

Maryland CP - Smith - Match
Ohio State - Fisher - Match
UNC-Chapel Hill - High reach
TCNJ - Business program - Match
UDel - Business program - Match
NYU - Stern - Int’l Business - High Reach/No
UPenn - CAS - Int’ Relations - Super high reach/ No

You’ve got a lot of match schools and that is ideal, unlike me who who applied to all really good schools with only one match/safety.
Good luck!

I’ll Chance you.
You have a pretty good ACT, SAT IIs are good too. How many APs have you taken? I think NYU has a new policy where you can sumbit three AP scores. If you have taken 3 APs and done very well, you might want to look into that. You have some pretty good ECs too.

I only chance schools I know.

UNC-Chapel Hill - Business program- High Match
TCNJ - Business program- Match
UDel - Business program- Match
NYU - Stern - Int’l Business- Reach, Stern is VERY competitive.
UPenn - CAS - Int’ Relations- Reach, but not as Reachy as Wharton.
