Neither hub nor I are sporty so I’ve been looking forward to the puppy bow/kitten bowl alternate programing! Despite the fact that everyone I know is over the moon about the game, LOL.
Dorito commercials are consistently good. A win for the triangle.
I am partial. I like Ben Affleck and JLo’s Dunkin Donuts commercial, filmed in MA and Ben is local.
The commercial is amusing, too.
I liked Ben and JLo too. Good game so far.
Finished yardwork just in time for the show!
Good half time performance.
Time for the NFL to shorten the game and lengthen the Half Time Show. She sounded great.
Bad girl riri! Amazing song to open with!
Amazing performance! Though she was making me nervous way up there on that platform at the end.
I think the Chiefs are in trouble as Mahommes is not very healthy. It hurts me to say that Eagles have a better chance.
But again, as Yogi Berra said, It ain’t over until it’s over.
I liked the NFL ad with flag football.
And the halftime show was awesome.
I haven’t been impressed with most of the ads.
I kept saying to my husband. She’s pregnant, right? She has to be pregnant!
I was telling my kids that I actually googled “is Rihanna pregnant” because I had not heard that - I think she was just at the Grammy’s last week with no mention that I heard of being pregnant.
Halftime show: hmmm.
Sorry, nothing against Rihanna–beautifu and talented, but heard all those songs a zillion times…ten years ago (ok…most recent one was from 2016).
And, call me a prude, but I just don’t get all the crotch grabbing, butt grabbing, overtly sexual/raunchy gestures during halftime. Starting the set off with "B*tch Better have My Money???
Crass and vulgar.
But big thumbs up to Sheryl, Babyface and Chris!!!
Me, too. I wonder if she is pregnant. My daughter also googled and said Rihanna had a baby a year ago.
RiRi’s peeps have confirmed she’s pregnant to multiple media outlets tonite. This would be her second, Baby #1 born last May.
That’s funny, I was happy not to see a bunch of scantily clad women prancing around.
I don’t think Super Bowl shows are typically the venue to promote new music. In fact, they tend to focus on the artist’s most well known songs (usually just partial songs highlighted) and songs most familiar to the audience ranging in age from barely double digits to nearly triple digits.
