All This ED Talk Got Me All Excited For Regular D (my hook is I only have 1 foot!)

the brown board didn't give me much, so here's my list and wondering if anyone could judge.

Brown
Boston College
Providence College
Stonehill College
Northeastern

Stats:
SAT: 2100: CR; 760 M; 630 W; 710 (11)
SAT IIs: History; 670 Math 1; 600 Span; 540
GPA: 3.67
Rank: 11/145
Other stats: 4 AP History Exam

Subjective:
Essays: Perfect, captured the feelings I had about wanting to go to Brown.
Teacher Recs: really, really good
Counselor Rec: Wasn't allowed to read
Hook (if any): Battle with Depression Junior Year, that's why GPA is not so hot; Overcame it, better person for it.

Location/Person:
State or Country: Mass
School Type: Private Catholic
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Male

Other Factors:
Class President for all years.
Focused completely on my love of English and writing and Creative Writing as a central theme, sort of a hook I guess.

General Comments (this is about Brown only) : Everyone who read them loved my essays, even though talk is cheap, but they captured my ECs which are varied and well rounded, and my personal philosophy and "why brown?"

and this kid from my school who's not top 30, and worse SAT scores, but with some alum connection got deferred ED, so I don't know how that fares for me..

bump like whoa

In for sure at everywhere besides for Brown.

Brown is a toss up (as are all Ivies).

"Focused completely on my love of English and writing and Creative Writing as a central theme, sort of a hook I guess."

in this case, maybe you should look into trying to bring up your SAT writing score.
