<p>They always will accept a lot more, because they are not sure who is going to matriculate.</p>

<p>Look, last year BMC’s acceptance rate was about 48%. A 12% increase in applications will probably not push it below 40% since, as penguin369 said, they have to allow for students declining their offers (and I’m pretty sure BMC’s yield is less than 50%–probably way below that since schools like UChicago have yields of about 40%).</p>

<p>Yes, they were. Some were out on the 21st of March.</p>
