I've been taking a lot of practice tests but in timed sections only. I would do CR section only from a test then score it. Then Math section on another day then score it from that same test. Same with writing. But, would the combined scores indicate I would possibly get on the real thing? (This is from BB) Or is it better to just take it all together like the real thing?

Doing them separately is fine. Just make sure you do a couple in conditions similar to those on test day.

Section by section is good for practicing your skills, such as if you want to spend a day just working on math problems.

I do suggest that you eventually start taking the practice tests in full - though it depends on the individual person. Some people have only ever done individual sections and performed very well on the real thing.
