<p>started this thread for all of us who appealed to UCI for the fall 09 quarter.
i saw the other thread but it seems that post was meant for high school applicants.</p>
<p>anyway, did anyone get accepted or rejected on appeal yet?
i just want to hear a decision from them so i can move on with my life lol.</p>
<p>I’m also curious about this … I was accepted but Irvine contacted me and said they had a larger than expected number of transfer SIR’s and that they were expanding my housing options. I wonder if this will impact appeal acceptances? Post decisions if you appealed!</p>
<p>Oh wow really? That doesn’t sound good for us appealers. I haven’t heard yet either. I called on the 1st, they said they haven’t made any decisions on appeals yet.</p>
<p>if you got rejected from uci, very slim chance of an appeal happening because they accept their candidates en mass, and well you better have a good reason aside from I think I deserve it.</p>
<p>does anyone know if they have a deadline to release all appeals?</p>

<p>i received a message on may 23rd through the message center telling me my application is under consideration, and asked me for my spring 09 grades. I havent heard back from them since.</p>

<p>yeah same here they asked me for my spring 09 grades. i got an A and 3 B’s. I had a 3.0 at the time I applied, applying for criminology major.</p>
<p>you guys are seriously appealing irvine admission decisions? How do you not get in? (ignore my wine induced spelling errors)</p>
<p>geez srjcstud i didn’t know uci was so easy to get into. u make it sound like its riverside or merced.</p>
<p>i got 4 a’s 2 b’s this semester. had a 3.4 gpa when i applied, prob didnt get in cause i didnt have enough credits when i applied</p>
<p>Daniel…if everything else with your app and your credits, etc met the requirements, you should be accepted. The criminology major doesn’t have a lot of prereqs and additional requirements. Your initial 3.0 and your spring grades should be more than enough to get you in.</p>
<p>thanks dashboardjordan i hope you’re right…my grades slipped during spring 08 and fall 08 because of personal family reasons…i included it on my appeal. it sucks because i wasn’t allowed to fill out a tag form although they said i qualified because i attended csu fullerton for 2 semesters. i personally know people who got in with lower gpa than me and with not even their language classes fulfilled! the agreement was that once they start they would automatically be on academic probation and would have to work their way up. crazy right. i guess some are luckier than others.</p>
