<p>Hey everyone...probably already talked to half of you already...but if you're applying to UVa as a transfer, and if you don't mind, list your stats so everyone can see what we're up against.</p>

<p>College: Virginia Tech</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0</p>

<p>Credit Hours: 30</p>

<p>Major: Undecided but leaning towards Psych</p>

<p>Unweighted Highschool GPA: 3.61</p>

<p>APs: U.S. Gov, APUSH, Lit</p>

<p>SAT/ACT: 1310 (690 - M 620 - V)</p>

<p>ECs - Tennis Team, Model General Assembly, National Beta Club, Academic Competition Team, bunch of random other stuff that doesn't really matter that much.</p>

<p>HS GPA: N/A (Dimploma equivelant and home study classes w/o grades)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.73</p>

<p>Age: 17</p>

<p>Year: Sophomore</p>

<p>School: California Community College</p>

<p>SAT: 1470</p>

<p>ECs: Student Government, Honor Society, Clubs, Online Advice Counselor, Published Poetry, Other Volunteering, etc.</p>

GPA: 3.75
Credit Hours: not sure how they measure up but 4 classes each semester...i think it's 24 total.
Major: International Relations and Spanish
HS GPA: 4.2, not sure unweighted but its up there
APs: Euro hist, psych, English language, English lit, Spanish language, Physics C, BC Calc, U.S. hist
SAT/ACT: 1430
Good hs ecs, pretty sucky college ones. got accepted to uva last year but opted for tufts instead. oops.</p>

<p>FirstYear, why are you trying to transfer from Tufts? (Just curious because I'm to transfer there from Mount Holyoke College. Be honest!)It has a great International Relations program!</p>

<p>Basically, what I was looking for in a college last year isn't at all what I wanted now. Yes it has a strong IR program, but I'm also thinking of changing my major, and if I stick with IR, I can always just end up back at Fletcher for grad school. Also, it doesn't have the extra curriculars I want, and it's too far from home. And the weather is killing me haha. I just haven't had a good experience here and really think I'd be a lot happier somewhere else.</p>
