Well do you?

Many, many top students “party” (which judging by your usage of the word, mean drink). Many top students do not “party.” If you choose to party your grades may or may not be affected.

During summer. But I keep away from the alcohol/drugs. Not really a fan of either, just because I don’t like them. Not even considering their side effects/consequences…

What is this strange concept…party?

Going to a party, like the people who are really stupid and only have 4.5s do?

Yes.
Well, not anymore since I’m in college (I grew out of this “party” for the heck of it stage long ago… as in like middle school when I decided killing brain cells was a waste of time.)

By 5.0, you mean students who get good grades?

Yea, you need friends/social life to function. Seriously, I tried abstaining from “partying” to achieve 100 on all subjects. Nope, it doesn’t work that way.

By partying, if you mean alcohol? No I gave that up my freshmen/sophomore year. Kept up the good grades, but it’s just not worth spending money/time for drinks and all the other crap that comes with party + alcohol. For smoking, that’s just plain nasty.

Chyeahhhhhhhhh all day everyday!

Well not alcohol everyday but burnin’ baby!

I get pretty good grades. Although I got a B+ in Comp 1 at a local 4 YEAR state college. All other A’s this semester. Partying has nothing to do with grades. It’s all about priorities. I work two jobs, it’s all manageable.

:)

Hey Wheeeeezy, “For smoking, that’s just plain nasty.”… Smokin what?! Lol specifyyy

Yes, on weekends. Doesn’t interfere with school at all. I’ve learnt to manage all my activities pretty well lol

No, I don’t party. I don’t drink or smoke and would really rather not grind with some random guy. I’d honestly rather go shopping or watch movies with friends on a Friday or Saturday night.

I’d probably burn out pretty quickly if I didn’t. I’m going out later, actually.

Especially with this whole senioritis thing lol. I thought it wouldn’t affect me.

Plus think of partying as an extra-curricular activity lol, which consumes 4 hrs on friday and saturday night

Yes. But nerd parties are the best ones. I just played an epic game of Monopoly at the last party I went to.

if i’ve learned one thing in school it’s that any try hard ■■■■■■ can get good grades.

Gave up partying midway through Soph year, a temporary dampened social life is worth getting into a better college imho.

Will resume partying second semester of Senior year :)

'nuff said. Addition to things I’d rather do: Movies.

Yea, I like to party =]

I’m not saying I make a habit of staying out late and drinking, however, on occasion I’d say everyone needs to let loose. I work hard and play hard; balance is everything.

4.7 enough? haha
hellz yes party all da timeEeEe but most of the people on here dont

see: never been kissed thread

it made me feel A LOT better about how i havent cured a disease or written a book yet
i may not have a 5.0 but i do have a life
too bad you cant put that on a college application…

I will resume partying after getting my acceptance from my dream college. until then, its just minimal partying.

found it: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/781522-who-here-never-have-been-kiss-honest.html?highlight=kissed

and partying in my opinion means ya know GOING TO A PARTY

and not a dance party or movie party with you and your little sister in your basement that you do homework through

Party? Beer? What is this you speak of?
