Also for all you other good GPAs-ers. (I don't have a straight 4.0 but close enough).

How do you study? I recently read in a book that some of the time, straight-A-ers are not the typical NERD/NERDETTE. They party and do a ton of extracurriculars and they still are in the top 5% of their class.

Sadly, I am not one of them. I am a NERDETTE. Ok, please post.

"Represent?"... ah, the wonders of UrbanDictionary. I take the liberty of assuming you summon my magnificent ego, but the full glory of the moon is betrayed only once a fortnight.

PM me if you're interested. I know a couple others too. My originally intended comment would almost doubtlessly have come off as extremely arrogant, not that it wasn't.

3.98 represent :)

My downfall was this nutty philosophy class. A-. I'll have 47 hours at the end of this year.

hurray for a thread for arrogant people who think they are smarter than everyone even though all they do is study.

It's hooray, dodo.

Being proud of yourself doesn't mean you look down upon others. Conversely, one shouldn't assume that just because someone is proud of their accomplishments, that they think they are better than anyone else.

A lesson you may learn later on :)

Being proud of yourself is one thing, showing off is another. If you were just proud of your own accomplishments, you wouldn't go around bragging to people.

Something you might of realized had you not become one of those arrogant nerds.

I'm not insulted that Duper can bench 315, or that Apple eats dog food, why name, are you so defensive and insecure that you have to lament other's accomplishments?

I do like telling people at my successes, maybe you just like to tell yourself how cool you are, but that doesn't make people that are open about their accomplishments arrogant.

I'm not going to argue with you. I find this thread arrogant, but you don't. Fine. I'm neither defensive nor insecure, though. getting As is nothing. Any idiot in the world can, with a little bit of work. At least in the North american school systems.

LOL that's funny. Not in a sarcastic way.

Good riddance :)

My plan of attack?

Take just 4 classes. Usually just 5. Go to class, listen, jot notes, review periodically, especially before exams, ace, set :)
