Well I'v been reassigned to townsend but I really want to be at Allen. I want to know what you guys think. Should I stay at Townsend or go to Allen? Also I dont like the fact that townsend is an all male dorm room.

well we dont really know u, so i'll just say allen cause i lived there...wait whats your religious and political background (seriously)

well im moderate from a political stand point and christian as my religious background

lol, sounds exactly like me. meh just choose allen b/c its more unique and not as dull, but if you cant stand very liberal people and um...homosexuals/flamboyant people than dont choose it. i think isr is too dull...

the flamboyant people keep things lively....sigh I'm actually beginning to miss it...no more RAs in robot costumes, no more Pagan (Easter) Egg hunts...

so what can you guys tell me about snyder? That was my first assignment until I got switched to townsend.

I just called housing and they said I had to complete a living learning community essay. I told them that on their site it said it was optional but they said it was required. I dont understand why they would do that if they put optional in the first place. Have any of you had to do the living learning community essay? and how long was your essay?

it is optional. HOWEVER, if you do the essay you are put in group A which is reviewed first. people who dont do the essay go into group B which is reviewed absolutely last. basically if you have a decent essay where you can lie and bs on how a LLC will help you so much and all, you're in. so yea, you should have done the essay b/c probably 600 people did the essay and most of them will be admitted into Allen which leaves only a couple spots left for non-essayers.

and dont worry if you dont get in, you can always try to get in at the end of the semester or in my case at the end of the year, i actually kind of regretted not going to the six pack

Townsend is ISR, right? If your an engineer, I would recommend staying at ISR.
